By Patricia Perez Tue, Jul 12, 2011

Sao Paulo, Brazil, July 13, 2011 (RISI) -At RISI's 12th annual Asian Pulp and Paper Outlook Conference a few weeks ago in Shanghai I had the opportunity to talk about the relationship between the Latin American and Asian pulp and paper industries. The most recurrent question I got during the two days of the event was why Latin America is still relying on paper imports considering the amount of pulp produced here.

RISI is the leading information provider for the global forest products industry.
