Curtis Struyk is the President of TMX Shipping Company, an international freight forwarder that specializes in exporting wood products. TMX is a full service company whose customer service representatives oversee every aspect of shipping process, allowing their customers to focus on their core competencies. As an industry leader for 36 years, TMX currently exports over 50,000 40-foot containers annually.
In 1997, Curtis started the US Lumber Shipper’s Association by combining lumber and log shipper’s exports in return for volume discounted freight rates with ocean carriers. In 1998, Curtis started Carolina Ocean Lines, Inc., an NVOCC that is currently the largest exporter on the East Coast of the United States.
