Sohrab joined Stora Enso in 2016 as responsible for Innovation for the Packaging Solution Division. Since 2019, he has been heading the built-up of a new business unit in Stora Enso focusing on Formed Fiber products. He has a background as management consultant at the global management consultancy firm Arthur D. Little where he focused most of his work on strategy, innovation and technology management. He has also founded and built two companies, one in the IT sector and one that developed an electric city car.

Sohrab obtained his MSc in Vehicle Engineering and PhD in Lightweight structures at the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH where he since 2017 also is a Docent/Associate Professor. He has worked as Research Associate at University of Cambridge (UK) with focus on development of micro-architectured fiber-based materials.
