Special Assistant to Chairman


Ms. Liu Mingming joined Sinar Mas Group in 2015 as Head of Global Technology and Business Development.  Her current position is Special Assistant to Chairman, Sinar Mas Group. 


Prior to joining Sinar Mas GroupMadame Liu has served Voith Paper Technologic Group (Voith Paperfor 18 years.  Madame Liu joined Voith Paper in 1998 as Chief Representative for Voith Paper China and was appointed President of Voith Paper China in 2002.  In 2009, she was appointed President and CEO of Voith Paper Asia. In April 2014, Madame Liu was appointed Executive Representative of Voith Group Asia. 


Madame Liu was the board member of multiple companies/ organizations, e.g., Voith Industrial Technology Service China, Voith Paper Global, Finnish listed company PKC Group and German Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai 


Before joining VoithMadame Liu worked as the General Manger of Blue Eagle Paper for 4 years, a joint venture between China’s Yuxi Hongta Group and Germany’s Glatz. 


Madame Liu was named one of the Three Outstanding Influential Females in China’s Paper Industry and has received many other recognitions including “Asian Most Creative Female Business Leader”“2011 Top 10 Distinguished Females of China”, “2010 Top 10 Outstanding Female Entrepreneurs of China”, “Meritorious People of China”, “Outstanding Business Women of Shanghai - Excellent Leadership Award” and “JESSICA Most successful Women Asia”, etc.
