Vice President of Papermaking
Gerald Steiner graduated from Graz, University of Technology (Austria) and holds a master degree in chemical and process engineering focusing on paper and pulp technology. In 2005 Gerald started his industry career as an engineer for process and technology optimization at Hamburger Containerboard. Between 2008 and 2015 he was seven years in charge of Operations and Technology of Hamburger Containerboard’s Pitten mil.
In 2015 Gerald joined Voith Paper as Vice President Business Development within the business line Products & Services (P&S), followed by being responsible for Global Operations as Voith Paper P&S board member. Currently he holds the position of Vice President Digitalization and is responsible for Papermaking 4.0, Voith Paper’s paper digital product family.
