Out of necessity or convenience, direct-to-consumer delivery has become a fundamental way of life for a broader range of goods including from PPE and clothes to groceries and meal kits, among others. This doorstep delivery has become a lifeline for the consumer and an economic driver for brands.

The package itself is no longer an incidental concern. It has become a part of how consumers perceive brand, whether it is reflecting a premium experience or affirming sustainability through recycled packaging. By sheer volume, the corrugated box has become consequential to financials or at least an area where brands have leverage to protect margin.
