Paul Simon Advisory
Paul manages a single-family office in London with a focus on direct private equity investing in environmental assets and hospitality real estate. Paul has a strong interest in environmental finance and is advising a number of European families on impact fund allocations across asset classes. He is a board director and Investment Committee member of a Bermuda-based single-family office associated with a leading Central American family. In this role, he supports the family with high-level asset allocation strategies, manager selections and family governance, including intergenerational wealth transfer and Next Gen considerations. He also serves on the Investment Committee of a Mauritius vehicle associated with a French family office with a strong focus on real estate and private equity investing in Africa.
Paul has a keen interest in philanthropy. He is a Trustee and Treasurer for Ashden, an environmental charity. He is a former special advisor to the UBS Optimus Foundation/CIFF on an educational impact bond in India.
Paul is a frequent speaker to the family office and academic community on matters of sustainability, impact investing and private equity investing in Africa. Outside work, he is a marathon and ultra-marathon runner and avid reader of history and politics
Paul is a Swedish national and holds a BA Hon in economics and history from Oxford University and an MSc with distinction in political economy from the London School of Economics.
