Mr. Marcelo Castelli has more than 25 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry, having held leadership positions in the production, projects, forestry, paper and business areas in major companies in Brazil.
At Fibria, he led the integration process and was responsible for the conceptual and administrative guidelines during the merger of Aracruz and VCP. After the successful merger, he was appointed CEO in July 2011.
Mr. Castelli is a mechanical engineer, specializing in pulp and paper, with an MBA from the Dom Cabral Foundation, and has completed several top management programs.
