Pratt Industries

Anthony Pratt is Executive Chairman of Pratt Industries USA and Visy of Australia, together one of the world's largest privately-owned paper and packaging companies.

The Pratt Group employs more than 16,000 people worldwide and operates more than 70 factories in the USA alone. It has grown from America's 45th largest corrugated producer to the 5th.

Firmly committed to sustainable manufacturing, Anthony is an acknowledged leader in circular business practice. In 2007 he made a commitment at President Clinton’s Global initiative in New York City to invest $1 billion in clean energy and recycling infrastructure over the next 10 years. He completed that pledge in just 6 years.

In 2017, he made another pledge to invest $2 billion over the ensuing decade to create 5000 green collar manufacturing jobs in the US.

He is also a leading food security advocate and philanthropist. Over the years the family's Pratt Foundation has donated hundreds of millions of dollars to charities in more than 20 countries. In 2018, Anthony pledged to donate a further $1 billion over the rest of his lifetime.

Anthony divides his time between Melbourne and New York City with his wife Claudine and his two children.
