American Eagle Paper Mills
Michael Grimm has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of American Eagle Paper Mills since 2013. Mike considers himself an industry outsider, having spent most of his career in the automotive industry. Prior to joining American Eagle Paper Mills, Mike held several senior leadership roles at Seton Company, a global automotive leather manufacturer. During his time at Seton he served as Vice President and General Manager, Interiors Division; Vice President of Global Engineering, and CIO.
Mike spent the early years of his career in the in the converting and printing segments of the paper industry, beginning as an engineer with the Mead School and Office Products Division of the Mead Corporation. He also held several leadership roles at North American Communications, a vertically integrated direct mail manufacturer.
Mike holds an Engineering degree from Penn State University and has completed executive training at Harvard and The Wharton School of Business. Mike is a proud veteran, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Forest and Paper Association where he chairs the Specialty and Smaller Enterprise Council (SSEC).
Mike was born and raised in Tyrone, Pennsylvania and can trace family working at the Tyrone mill dating back to the 1930’s. Mike and his wife Ieva reside near the mill with their two sons.
