Jorge Luzuriaga was born in Ecuador, and currently the Managing Director at GA-K Overseas Latin America. With over 15 years of experience, Jorge has worked in many sectors such as packaging, pulp and paper, banking, plastic resins, distribution, and entertainment. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to travel all over the world to expand business portfolios. He is passionate about branding and is always looking for new trends and ways to improve our industry.
Jorge joined GA-K Overseas as a Sales Manager in 2013. With the opening of the GA-K Overseas Mexico office in 2016, Jorge moved to Mexico City to cover all of Latin America. In 2018, he became the Managing Director of Latin America, where Jorge now oversees sales in Latin America, focusing on all paper grades, supply worldwide and logistics. Jorge became a board member of the Association of the Industrial Corrugated Board of Mexico (AMEXICCOR) in 2019.
Outside of work, Jorge spends his time working with charities for children who have complicated diseases at the Casa de la Caridad Penipe in Ecuador and spending time with his family, with whom he plants trees with every year.
