Mariana Soto Urzúa, Chemical Civil Engineer from the University of Chile, in Santiago, Chile. With wide experience in paper manufacture companies, such as “Celulosa Arauco”, “CMPC Tissue”, “Papelera Vera & Giannini”, “MM – Marinetti Packaging”. Since 2009 she has been the manager of “Centro de Envases y Embalajes de Chile – CENEM”. CENEM is nonprofit private technical organization, which reunites the valuable chain of the packaging industry, and focuses its strategy in four fundamental pillars: sustainability, innovation, human capital, and digital packaging. Today she is part of the management of the “Centro de innovación tecnológica de alimentos CeTA”, in the sustainable production and consumption committee by the Ministry of environment. She leads the clean production agreement in the packaging area and coordinates work meetings of different packaging sectors and other activities of the corporation. Coordinator of the program of the Circle of packaging innovation, also to direct the work committees of the corporation, among other activities.
